Keys, age 86 of DeKalb and formerly of Oak Park; Veteran USMC WWII Iwo Jima Survivor; beloved husband of Alice; loving father of Dorothy, Mary (Merle) Callahan, Roger (Mary), Kathryn, Thomas, Nancy (Peter) Buttitta and the late Walter C.; cherished grandfather of 14 and great grandfather of three; dear brother of Dorothy Smart and Jane Lucas. Walter was a long-time funeral director at Drechsler Brown Funeral Home. Visitation Friday, March 23rd from 3 to 9 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Prayers Saturday, March 24th at 9:45 a.m. to St. Edmund Church for Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
