Richard H. Collins, age 68, after a courageous battle with cancer passed away July 4; beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Berggren); loving father of Gerard (Marisa), Gerese and Edward; adoring grandfather of Christopher and Kiera; cherished brother of Thomas (Marilyn), William (Jan), Lawrence (Cyndi), Gerard (Mary), James (Michelle) and the late Maureen; dear uncle and friend of many. Richard was a proud graduate of Fenwick High School and Loyola University. He worked a good part of his career with the Cook County Circuit Court. Visitation Sunday, July 8th from 2 to 8 p.m. at Drechsler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home, 203 S. Marion St., Oak Park. Prayers Monday, July 9th at 9:15 a.m. to St. Luke Church, 7600 Lake St., River Forest, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice are appreciated.
