William Sugrue, age 47, died peacefully surrounded by his family on November, 17, 2011. Bill was the beloved son of Nancy nee Strumin and the late John V. Sugrue, Sr.; loving brother of James Sugrue, Bernadette (Michael) Flynn and the late John V. Sugrue, Jr; cherished uncle of Brendan, Conor, Hayley, Kylie, and Shelby Flynn; dear nephew of Charles (Mary) Sugrue, Marjorie (Ya Ping) Zhou and the late Gerald (Betty) and the late Jeanne Mackey, fond cousin of Jerry Sugrue. Bill was also the proud Godfather of his niece, Hayley Flynn. Bill was an avid Chicago Blackhawks and Chicago Fire fan. He earned a bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 2008. Bill had Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, but never let the disease prevent him from enjoying his family, his many hobbies, and his achievements. His positive attitude and love for life were an inspiration to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Visitation Sunday, November 20th from 3 to 8 PM at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 E. Roosevelt Road, Wheaton. Prayers, Monday, November 21st at 10:15 AM to St. Michael Church for Mass at 11:00 A.M. Interment St. MIchael Cemetery.
