McSheehy, age 65, of Oak Park; dear brother of Kathleen (Timothy) Lennon, William (Margaret), Jean (William) Divane, Mary (Michael) Mullen, Thomas, and the late Margaret McSheehy Vendel; fond uncle of Meggan (Craig Wedren) and Thomas (Jenny) Lennon, Ann (Stamatis) Sevaslidis and Catherine (Alex) Echevarria, Theresa (Kristian) Frumkin, Sarah (Manuel) Berquet and Brendan (Laura) Gramer, Michael (Erin), Brigid, Kaitlin (Robert Buss), Michaela and Kelsey Mullen; great-uncle of 14; beloved son of the late James R. and Marguerite McSheehy; dear step-son of the late Daniel “Coach” O’Brien. Family and friends will be gathering at Ascension Church, 801 S. East Av., Oak Park beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday March 15, 2012. Mass will begin at 4:30 .m. Interment is private.
